I have sent letters via email and registered mail and I still have 4 PDL's that are calling and/or emailing me. I just received the following from CashTransferCenters:

We are in receipt of your email sent June 1, 2010. As per our June 1, 2010 correspondence with you, all collection activity while this account is under investigation has remained ceased.

As per the loan agreement attached in your June 1, 2010 letter, Northway Financial Corporation Ltd. is a Financial Institution licensed and regulated in accordance with the Financial Services Directive of the European Union (EU). Therefore the laws of the Republic of Malta (member State of the European Union), apply to the terms of your loan. The same would be true if you were to borrow funds from a financial institution in another state in America other than the state of North Carolina. The laws governing financial institutions in that particular state would apply to the terms of your loan.

Then it goes on to say how I can make a payment. What do I do at this point?? Do I continue to send letters or do I just ignore? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

flood their email with your letter.that is their typical response.basically you are not a resident of malta.therefore you are not subject to malta law.their stupid argument about it being internet is ridiculous as well.your state law is what they or any other lender go by.
