Hi I have 2 Installment loans, one is with AWL (American Web Loans) I borrowed $1000.00 and I pay a fee of $220.00 every two weeks. It is not going towards the principal so my balance is still $1000.00 and I have had this loan since June (4 months now). I have paid them $1760..00 already. What can I do about this?

My other installment loan is with CashCall. I have had this loan for 14 months. I borrowed $2600.00 from them and pay $294.00 every month. I now owe them for more than I borrowed $2700.00. How is that possible. I have paid them $4116.00 and I am no where close to paying them off.

I just stopped paying on these two loans because I cannot afford it anymore. I took them out when work was slow and now that I am working again (past month) all I am paying for is loans and I'm getting behind on all of my other bills (rent and utilities) I dont have alot of debt but I'm struggling.

I also have 4 payday loans with check n go, Moneytree, Speedycash, and Payday Loan all for $300.00. I am current all all of these loans. I renew them every 2 weeks without a choice cause I cannot afford to pay them off. I am considering to stop payment on them.. What should I do?

As far as AWL is concerned, it is a tribal lending entity and therefore it can be said to be illegal. You only need to repay the principal and thats that. You should revoke ACH authorization immediately and send the lender a letter stating that they are illegal, you have already over paid them so you will not be paying them anymore, demand a refund of the overpayment and inform them that you are filing a compliant with the AG and the FTC.

When it comes to CashCall things get a little tricky. They are actually a licensed business and backed by a bank and that kind of makes them legal. So there is no easy way of getting out of this. They can sue you.

As for you PDLs, all of them are pretty much legal ( I have doubts about Paydayloan.com)
