I'm trying to pay my payday loan but they want nsf fees to I only have enough to pay them. What can I do?

Who are "they" asking you for NSF fees?

If they are the Payday loan lenders, then they are not supposed to do it. Only banks can charge NSF or overdraft fees.

Please tell us the name of the payday loan company and which state do you live in?
I am asking because payday loan law varies state to state.

@sanderspatricia29 is correct. Payday lenders are not supposed to charge you NSF fee. but if your check was bounced at the bank and the bank has charged your lender, then YES. They can charge you.

But, in most of the instances, if you pay off the complete balance on the loan other than NSF fee, then your lender might waive the NSF fee. Just talk to the manager at the branch or call their corporate office. If you put some pressure, I have seen many instances where the fee is removed.
Good luck.
