I have been working with langhorne, everything has been good, but i'm thinking of going at it alone and am looking for some help. I know everyone on here is very knowledgable. To start I live in NY and all my accounts are internet.
advance today -300 borrowed
high county ventures-300 borrowed
united cash -250 borrowed
one click -300 borrowed
ameriloan -200 borrowed
rbt loans/pdl ventures -300 borrowed
kingston financial -200 borrowed

I was able to close my account before they were able to take out the fees. I located one of the examples of letters to send to them and got my state laws, just had a ffew questions.
I've read people saying to contact the ag's office what do i tell them when i contact them?

any other advice or tips anyone can give me to take care of these will be greatly appreciated
also anyone who has had dealings with any of these with any tips please let me know
Thank you all in advance for your help

You REALLY should have secured your account BEFORE sending out any letters. You need to get to the bank and place a hard debit block on it immediately! Speak directly with the branch manager. Please read the steps in the illegal lender thread again, it's important that you follow it step by step to keep these illegal lenders from debiting your account. I am afraid if you don't get your account secured immediately the lenders who have your account information will attempt to debit your account, and most likely the entire amount. Take your revocation letter to your bank immediately so if these companies do make attempts to debit your account you can have it reversed.

So I heard back from someone at rbt and he said he can take set something up for the payments for rbt, high county and for impact cash. He said that they will not take payments for western union or moneygram, but will take moneyorder or debit/credit card. Which of these do you think would be my best option for making the payments. I was thinking of getting a prepaid card I don't want to give them my actual card numbers. Or am I safer getting money orders, is there a way I can track them? Again thank you all for your help.

yeah, that happened to me but only with one company.. the post office was able to track it and it was fine :)
if the companies are not legal, they may never agree to settle for principal only. there is a company that i never got a PIF for but just stopped paying because i paid over the principal owed.
