Has anyone ever had a collections rep show up at your home or place of employment? If so, what happened? My loan is from a legal storefront lender; I just defaulted after I was refused an EPP.

Contact their collections department (corporate offices) and set up your payoff arrangement ASAP with them. Do this before they try to run another payment through your account and cause you more OD fees.

My account is closed. Should I wait for the office to receive my returned check? No one has even called me yet. I called the corporate office and tried to set up payment arrangements but wasn't able too- seems like they want me to work directly with the store...who also turned down my request for a payment plan.
