I live in ohio and i have 3 payday loans that have been returned for nsf. I am in the process of closing the account but I need help in getting them taken care of and what to do.

They are cashnetusa-internet, checksmart-storefront and checkngo-storefront. any suggestions. They total over 4k and i feel like im drowning.

Cashnet is not legal in your state. Checksmart is also not licensed in your state according to Ohio's licensee look up. Checkngo is licensed.
This means that you owe Cashnet the principal on your loan. Make sure you send them a letter telling them you will only pay them the principal unless they can prove they are licensed to lend in your state. This will help you somewhat.
Go to the Checksmart location you took out the loan from and ask to see their license. If they refuse to show it or can't, report them to the Ohio Attorney General and the Division of Financial Institutions and see what the government advises you to do.

Where are you obtaining this information, it's all wrong. I am not picking on you but incorrect information in this form, could cause legal problems for this poster.

So, basically, you have already defaulted on all of these loans. I realize that the interest being charged by cashnetusa is outrageous, but the problem is, they are a credit service organization so they aren't required to follow the payday loan laws. Cashnetusa does have an extended payment plan, and usually they are more than willing to work with their customers, therefore my suggestion to you is to call them and work out something with them, and the same goes for the other two lenders. If you just let these go the interest will accumulate and they will eventually turn them over to collections or sue you.
