is it illegal in ohio to close your bank account to prevent payday lenders from automatically debiting their payment? I am trying to get out from under 6 payday loans, and I was advised to close my account, open another account and try debt consolidation.
My problem is I can't afford to go to jail for nonpayment of these bills. If I go to jail, I lose my job, then I am really screwed :(
