I have 8 of these suckers (all storefront). I switched the info for all of them from a Bank of America account to a Navy Federal account several loans ago. All loans are currently holding a Navy Federal check. Can they try to take funds from my Bank of America one?

are these in default?if not you can request an EPP(extended payment plan).go in see the manager before your due date and request it.then your loan balance is frozen and broken into four equal payments.it isa pain with 8 storefronts, but they can and will seek remedies via the courts then depends on your state if they can access your new account via a judgement.i would look into the EPP if you can.

Yes they can sue and so can the bank if they fall further behind in debt and their account continues to collect nsf fees. These PDL's can also debit the account more than once creating a situation that a person cannot recover from and may also lead to someone not being able to get a bank account. In my opinion first protect your interests and second go to these companies and explain the situation and try to make payment arrangements. The poster needs to be proactive to prevent the store fronts from taking legal action.

Guest, that is true that you cannot get an EPP after you default BUT if you can manage to pay the defaulted amount and get a reloan then you can get the EPP before the due date...this is what I have done with some of my storefronts and I am on my way to having 6 PDLs paid off in the next month or so :)

No one said default first, secure your bank account first while your loans are still current, then prior to the due date arrange EPP's but keep in mind some store fronts though licensed are not members of CFSA and actually make you default first before they will make payment arrangements. The poster does not name the store fronts or state so we dont know.

Advance America....CFSA
Check n' Go ....CFSA
CheckSmart ....CFSA
MoneyMart ....???
ACE ....No
Check n2 Cash....CFSA
Approved ....CFSA
QuikCash ....No

Here is your breakdown for CFSA members. Go to them immediately and try to get EPP. If no luck at store level, look-up corp number and call to explain your situation. Calling Corp will be your best bet to make the most favorable payment arrangements, but do it TODAY!!!
