I just got an email from oneclickcash telling me my ACH did not go through (no kidding, I closed my account) and that they are extending me the curtosy of making things right. I am in Texas

The loan was initially for $300. I have paid $180.00 so far

I do not believe they are legal. Should I reply by fax, email, certified mail that I know they are not legally licensed to issue loans in texas and I'm willing to pay the difference in principal? Any idea how they will respond ?

Thank you.

Nope, they aren't licensed to lend to TX residents. They ARE ruthless characters though. Indeed, let them know you are aware they aren't licensed to lend to TX residents, but, as a courtesy to them, you will send them payments through the mail, with money orders, until you have paid them the balance of what you owe, which would compute to $180.00. Also remind them that you will make payments when you can afford. They will threaten and harass the heck out of you but don't argue with them, tell them no address, no payments, end of story.
