I reside in Texas and I have 2 payday loans, both originated online, one with greenpicket.com and one with oneclickcash.com..
One Click Cash loan was $400.00 , I have rolled over 4 times, paid the interest or fees only , I have paid $480.00 ( $120.00 * 4)
The Green Picket ( Northway Financial Corporation Ltd ) is different..each paycheck I pay back the loan in full with fees, interest and then I " reloan" the same day I pay... the last 2 times I paid back $804.86 for a $700 loan..
I can not afford to pay this upcoming paycheck so I have closed my checking account...I was not able to find any info here

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance for your help

You should contact with the Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner in order to know whether or not pdl companies are licensed to operate in your state. Their contact detail is as follows:
* Address - 2601 N. Lamar Blvd. Austin TX 78705
* Phone - (512) 936-7600
* Fax - (512) 936-7610

You can get rid of the debts by paying them only the principal amount if you find that the lenders are not licensed in your state. You can ask them for the refund also if you have paid them more than the principal amount. If the lenders are licensed, then you will be accountable for both the principal and interest. If you can???t afford to payback the full debts, then you may try to arrange a better repayment plan with them. Otherwise, you may get help from a debt relief company.

None of your lenders are licensed. You should only repay the principal amount borrowed.

Any overpayments (fees, interest, etc.) from previous loans can be subtracted from current loans.

You've closed your account. That's step 1. Now you need to email these people and let them know that they aren't licensed in TX and you won't be repaying more than the principal.

Also file complaints with the TX OCCC, TX AG, and the FTC.

You can find further info here on how to word your letter.
