good day to all
well let's recap. i took a loan from occ paid it back over time. they needle me for more money i refused to pay they call and call i tell them to stop calling i filed complainst with the BBB AND THE STATE ATTY OFFICE THEY CONTINUE TO CALL AND I REFUSE TO TALK TO THEM SO I GO ONTO THE BLOG AND NOW I SEE THERE MUST BE 2 ADDRESSES ONE IN NV THE OTHER ONE IS KS DOES IT REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE BECUASE NOW I DONT EVEN KNOW WHICH OFFICE THE LOAN ORIGINATED FROM, OR DOES IT MATTER?
EITHER WAY I AINT PAYING THEM NOT ANOTHER RED DIME!

I e-mailed and faxed C&D letter to stop calling and I haven't received one call. and that was July 27th. Just keep ignoring them. If you can get your phone number changed. If they are calling your cell, ignore the calls. If they are calling your work, tell them they are illegal and you are going to report them to AG of your state, and they are breaking the law. If you haven't already, send them a C & D letter telling them they can ONLY contact you via mail or e-mail. I never heard from them (yet).

the arrest warrant info is harder to find... I'll post it later when I'm at a computer (on my phone now)

That order is over 2 years old. Do you have any current info to show that the C&D is still in effect?

It was never in effect because they never followed it. The companies are based on indian reservations. A lot of state regulators tried to go after them a few years back. Instead of playing nice, the companies delivered a middle finger to the states because there is this old rule that says states can't go after indian tribes. They are still fighting over this as well as if these companies are "tribes".

The good news is that the worst these people can do is call and send e-mails... this is something call block can fix

You can also have your phone number changed. You can ignore any numbers that show up on your cell that you don't recognize. Eventually, they will stop calling. U S Fast cash finally after 4 months stopped. Got an e-mail from them 2-3 times a week regularly. Haven't heard from them in 2 weeks!

OCC just called me and said that since they were on federal indian reserves that I had a legally binding contract. I live in the State of Kentucky where you must have a store front to be licensed here. She said that it did not matter since it was on an Indian Reserve. I contacted someone in Frankfort a few months back trying to see if internet payday loans were illegal and he said yes they were. What do I do?????

This thread is good info for me (not that any OTHER thread isn't!!LOL). I had 'One Click Cash' at one time........this was over 3 years ago now. RECENTLY someone from (I'm ASSUMING..) their 'office' had called me and said I had a "un-paid balance with them." I DID default with them, but, I have no idea what the unpaid balance is now. They also stated that the debt has been on my CR for sometime and will not be removed until I pay the balance. I checked my CR.......NOTHING from them. They were calling from an #800 number. When I tried to call the number, I would get a recording, saying "the mailbox is full."
