I had to take out two internet loans to pay off a storefront.

1. OneClickCash, Loan amount $300, Paid 0 So far.

2. UsFastCash, Loan amount $300, Paid 0 So far.

I live in Kentucky.

I have already closed my account, and made sure that no transactions can open it back up.
I have sent both companies e-mails revoking their ach and wage assignment authorizations.

I tried to get them to give me an address to send them payments via money order, but they refuse to give me an address. Here is the e-mail response of theirs.

Quote:
Dear XXXXX,

We are located in NE and we are an online payday loan company. That means you are to abide by our state laws. Please review your contract that is available online for you.

Your current balance is $390.00. Your next due date is 2008-08-29 for $90.00.

So what should my next step be?

Guest,

I had one like that and I basically told them look, if you want the PRINCIPAL amount that I took out then you will give me an address to mail payment to... they didn't and so they aren't getting their money. I refuse to give them my new banking info. and told them I no longer had a checking account.

Basically that's all you can do. I believe both of these are illegal, but Goudah can confirm that.

These people are not very easy to deal with...they said the same thing to me, wouldn't acknowledge arrangements for the principal amount or give me a mailing address. I'm waiting to hear something from the AG's office. They also completely ignored my letters and emails.

I'm dealing with USFastcash right now. I received a loan for $450 from them and paid $135 so far. Since they are illegal I'm only paying back the $315 remaining balance and they are trying to say I owe $720. They know my account is closed but they keep trying to debit it anyway. Last Friday they tried to send a check through for the $720. I'm just going to mail them payments and keep copies of everything I send to them.

I haven't sent anything because I'm trying to get the others cleared up. But I may just start sending them through my debt management program, but I will only send payments totaling the principal balance. The dmp will keep track of the payments and if the checks have been cashed or not. I am going to send them a letter informing them of my intentions and also the laws of my state and the fact that they are not licensed. I am going to copy my Attorney General on the letter as well. I live in Illinois and my Attorney General don't play when it comes to these illegal PDL's.

I just applied for a PDL from one click cash. I haven't been able to confirm if the loan has been deposited into my account yet. If this "company" is illegal, how can I cancell the transaction?

Yes, Oneclickcash is illegal, if they have your bank account information it's too late to cancel, and even if you could they would still take money out of your account, you're better off getting that account closed and opening another one, if they deposit the money into your account before you can get it closed, go to your bank and tell them to return it asap!
