I reside in a state where payday loans are not legal. I have online loans that I am unaable to pay anymore. Can I do anything to stop the harrassment and grief I am recieving? Thanks for any help or insight.

The only thing you can really do is ignore the calls, in other words, don't answer when they call, if they call and you happen to answer don't say anything to them just hang up immediately. Or, you could just have your number changed and avoid it all together. These lenders who loan to people in states where payday loans are prohibited are nothing more than criminals and do not care what lengths they will go to, to scare and harass people. I do hope you have your account closed as it will never be safe again.
