Yes, I did something I will always regret, payday loans. I now owe my bank over $4000.00 for return fees and money they put out for Payday Loans companies all were made online. I have sent a Desist and Refrain order to all of them as of 2/10/10. Only because the bank locked me out of acct so I didn't know what was going through for a while. Fast Money 911 - sent me a paid in full but they took a total of $900. for a 500. loan. Intregrity Advance is still trying to debit my acct, which the bank as now closed. Loan was for 500 they have taken 950. and are still trying for more. Cash Jar is still trying. Eastside Lenders, ACE Cash Services SGQ, 200 Cash. I also asked all companies for a copy of the contract, to contact me by written form only and I am in the process of filing complaints with the state of Ca. Where do I start? How can I get the bank to help? They have me filling out dispute forms but basically saying a signed a contract therefore I am stuck.
HELP!

First thing you need to tell that bank that California Law requires them to be licensed in our state to lend plus it also has a cap on what they can charge, so your bank is wrong!!!! Do not let them push you around. You need to file complaints against the PDL companies with FTC, BBB, Dept of Corp. the www.ic3.gov . Make sure you file in your state and theirs. You only have to pay the illegal PDL's the principal back, and the ones that you over paid owe you a refund and a Paid in Full status. Now you need to ignore the calls cause by talking to them they will continue to call. So hang up or just dont answer. The most important part here is dealing with your bank,. Have you gone into the bank and asked to speak with the manager. If you do please go to the FTC website and print the laws for PDL loans for California and take it with you and tell them you are prepared to file complaints against the bank for honoring a contract that is clearly illegal. But first try to speak to the manager and see if you can get all the payments reversed. Others here will have more and better advise for you so please hang in there.
