PDL Horror
Date: Sat, 03/16/2013 - 09:33
I need/want to pay USAA all the NSF's fees that have accrued because of this but I need this company to stop debiting to get my already high balance under control. I don't know if I'm going about this the right way but it is frustrating and there are tons of stuff to read so, I am getting sidetracked about where and when to start from first. I read a post somewhere on here that said they just copied a sample letter, edited it and started sending to all the companies they got loans from. I was wondering if I could have that link please? Someone asked for a linked but it was not responded to.
Also, I just got off the phone with my bank and they said my only option is to call them AGAIN and try to work out something with them because even if the authorize a stop payment or ACH revocation, PDL companies have so many name and subsidiaries that they can get around it? I need some help to get them to stop trying to take out of this account. I can't close it until I pay down the fees already put on there
Thanks diggerg. I sent Action
Thanks diggerg. I sent Action Payday and Internet Payday Loan an email revoking my permission to the ACH debits. I did not know they were an illegal offshore company until I just read the comment. I will, in turn, send another email informing them of this and their rights are revoked, yet again. Here are my loans to date:
Action Payday $300
Internet Payday Loan $300
Cash Cloud(I think they're under a different name as well)$500
I live in Alabama. Internet PDL has debited their fees for the first 2 weeks and then I feel behind after car trouble and this is how it all got started. Action PDL just decided they wanted to deduct BEFORE I was paid so, they weren't able to get their fees now, I've gotten a ton of NSF's in my account because of these two companies.
Action Payday and Internet PDL are the most stubborn and abrasive ones. They continue to debit after I called and asked them to stop so, I just sent emails to both of them in hopes they will not try it again. I can't believe I got myself tangled up in this mess and now, I'm trying to clean it up...
Action Payday
At last report Action Payday is an illegal offshore lender. They will try to tell you they are legal according to the laws of their country, but really they're not. You're morally obligated to pay the amount borrowed and nothing more.
First and foremost you need to close your bank account.I understand they won't close it while it's in a negative balance.
I realize all banks are different but my bank worked with me and during the transition from an old to a new account they got a list from me of authorized withdrawals. Everything else was rejected.
I've never heard of a bank requiring a notarized letter for stopping ACH withdrawals but as I said, they're all different. Ask to speak to a manager or personal banker, not just a customer service person.
