I recently have been contacted by OSB Investigation Services regarding a civil complaint being filed against me. They have called my mom, my sister and my dad and I have no idea how they got those numbers! Anyway, apparently Quickest Cash Advance has filed a civil complaint claiming that I defrauded them and are threatening to take me to court. I did not confirm this is my debt because I don't remember it but it's possible, I had a lot out at one time. I asked that the person send me a letter so I could look it over. I have 2 questions - one, I can't find any information on OSB Investigation Services and she said they don't have a website. How do I find out if they are legit? Also, how do I go about paying only what I LEGALLY owe to the payday loan company? THANKS!

Quickest Cash Advance = MTE Financial are most likely not legal in your state because I don't think they are licensed anywhere. What they have told you on the phone is a typical false statement made by many many unlicensed lenders, I have read it numerous times by other posters on this forum alone. Unless they send you a letter of collection via the mail I wouldn't concern myself with their threats, and if the truth were known, the reason you can't find any OSB Investigation Services is probably because they are non-existent. It's most likely someone from their very own office who is actually calling you.

Well, I honestly need to find the paperwork for this because I don't remember the amount or the amount paid back...This was two years ago. I had closed my bank account because I had too many loans and sent out the letters saying they were illegal and I would only pay the legal amount. I am in Michigan. The number comes up as blocked but the call back number is 877-816-6933. They are supposed to send me a letter via USPS with the settlement amount in it.

hello minsmi.i didn't know this was you.i will look and see what i can find on this for you.okay looking back you borrowed 300.00 and paid nothing at all therefore you only owe 300.00 nothing more, and you pay it on your terms.they want to call and threaten 2 yrs after the fact.they can get reported before they get paid.even then you get an address to send payments.no address no money.tell them that.
