pms stuck in outbox

Can anyone tell why when I send PMs, they often sit in my outbox for days before moving to the receiver?

sure,see the bar on the right.when i get a
message it will say you have 1 new message.
if i send you a PM it will say the same for
you.it is below the DTCC points heading.
