I need to know if any internet lending agency outside the US can criminally prosecute for unpaid loans. I received 3 loans in the amount of 200.00 each and began repaying, when i had a financial hardship. I had to change my account but my bank is saying I preauthorized them and now not only do I owe them like I never paid a dime I am now owing my bank 225.00 in fees. Today I received a threatening call regarding charges and complaints but I checked with my local solicitors office online to see if there was any such person and there is not. I need to know if SC allows for non US lenders to criminally prosecute. my rate for the loans are 742% they said if I paid 60. every 2weeks It would never repay the loan. Can I get any viable answers? This has already cost me 300.00.
