Short cap: got into some financial trouble due to car accident at the end of the year...living paycheck to paycheck that was the intial cause of the nightmare. Out of work, rental car, etc.

I took out a couple of payday loans, they were expensive, but I was slowly paying them down, but was still flat broke and constantly overdrafting my account, etc.

I have horrible credit, and was infact on my way to trying to repair it with my new car, and my one credit card until...wait...yes, a financial disaster hit.

I applied for loans, and was turned down seveal times. Finally a company that I found on a Google AD replies that I am approved...YAY!!!

The condition was to send in a collateral payment so that I could get the loan due to my poor credit history. So I took out several payday loans ot fund this payment honestly believing I would get the money back.

Well, I'm sure most of you loan savvy people know, in the end I was scammed. I lost the money I sent to the people (and need I say that coporate America could care less---I didn't ask them to pay me back, I fell for the scam, all I asked was for them to put up WARNINGs regarding this issue---I applied for several loans and had the same scam fall into my lap about 5 times---google doesn't care that a company placed an ad through them, and that they do not verify identities of said imaginerary company, nor does easy tel telephone company, or does Walmart care that the crooks are singling out Walmart's money gram service---but I'm on a tangent).

Now I've been scammed out of payday loans, a paycheck, and insurance money that was supposed to pay my medical bills (well part of).

I can't keep up on the payday loans, my bank is overdrawn...

And worse, the collection agency of a certain payday loan company flat out lied to me. They assured me that if I paid the loan in full they would reissue the loan to me...I came up declined due to having so many PDL out...and they will not give me back my money. I am supposed to go in and talk to a manager about this tomarrow, but that doesn't change the fact that several employees of the customer service (ie collectors) told me I could get my money back once I paid. They flat out lied to me and scammed me. They did not say but, it is contingent on approval, or but we can not guarantee the loan...nothing like that. Simply, "Remember, if you pay off the loan, you can retake it out in full." I kid you not, this was said every time!

They knew my story, knew I had several loans out, but not one person said, well... we can't promise.

I'm really pissed because I now have $60 til next payday (I got paid today), and that is about a tank of gas for a week!!!

I am feeling depressed because of the car accident, and then being scammed...now I feel desperate and in despair. I tried to do the right thing and get caught up, and look what they did to me.

I am becoming a jaded person, and am tired of trying to do the right thing.

Any suggestions? Short of if they don't fix this reporting them to the BBB, FTC, the collections legal people (don't remember the abbrevation) and every rip off site I can.

I am in Nevada, all my loans are post dated checks.

unfortunately, all the loans are storefront. no internet.

Anime--
It can only get better from this point on, because it sounds like it can't get any worse for you. I am sorry you have had more than your fair share of troubles here. You need to take it one step at a time--and I feel like the first thing you need to do is close your bank account if you can and get a new number. If that won't work for you, see if you can put an ACH block on it. This way, you will get some control back. How many PDL's do you have?
