It me. ddg. The process is still going and I have to say that I am not stressing at all. I have one company that states they will refund me, but I have to give them more banking information to send the funds. DUH!!
I do have a question. If the company is out of Malta, and I live in SC, don't they have to go by the law of SC? What if the loan contract states their laws govern the loan?

All the overseas IPDL's would like you to believe that the laws of their country is binding on US citizens residing in the US. The only way the laws of Malta would be binding would be if you were in Malta. Recommend you never vacation there but beyond that there's nothing they can do to you. Any company conduction business in the US is bound by US and the apprpriate state laws regardless of what is ion their contract.
