Hi all,

In the instance of overseas IPDLs, there is usually not chance that they are licensed, right?

I know Star Advance is located in Costa Rica, which would essentially make any loans null and void in the US, or am I wrong with this?

I guess the only obligation would be to pay back what is borrowed?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I haven't seen any of the the overseas companies with a license, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. Technically they could be licensed. But I would be shocked to see one that was . . . .

Just because they are located in Costa Rica doesn't make the loan null and void. Because they aren't legally licensed at all would.

I would agree that the only obligation would be to pay back what was borrowed.
