What can illegal PDL from other country do?

If you find out that your PDL lender is illegal and located outside the US, but your have not paid them anything yet what couold you expect if you close your accounts and don't pay them at all?
Can they come after you legally? How could they when they are in anouther country?

I have never heard a case from anyone at this forum that stated
I have never heard a case from anyone at this forum that stated an illegal lender from overseas pursued any legal action. The chances are slim to none, they are illegal, wouldn't they look like a fool walking into a court of law?!
