Thank God I found your site, I too have been bleeding from the PDL trap. I live in Pa and I think the pdls I have are internet based. I think their all illegal? I did close my bank account today, and just want to be sure of next steps. I've posted pdl's I currently have. all help is so appreciated

Titan GroupLLC loan amt 300/ paid 90 so far
East Side Lenders loan amt 300 / paid 90 so far
American Consumer Credit LLC loan amt 700/ paid 350 so far
CashDirectExpress loan amt 400 / paid 424 so far
Integrity Advance amt 500 / paid so far 1010
Ameriloan amt 400 / paid so far 240
Oneclickcash amt 550 / paid so far 230
Biggest-Cash amt 400 / paid so far 690
GFSIL amt 235 / paid so far 560

You've done the first step which is closing your account, now you can stop and breathe and figure out a plan! If they are pdls then they would be illegal in PA, the thing you need to double check on is that they are in fact pdls and not installment loans which would be an entirely different thing and they would be legal. I am unsure if any of the places you listed offer installment loans but the one that really sticks out as possibly in American Consumer Credit. The only way to find out for sure is to read carefully over your contracts. If they do turn out to be pdls then you can read the sticky about dealing with illegal lenders. The very first post explains what to do and has links to sample letters you can send. Someone else will probab;y come along who know more about these specific lenders. You can also search the name in the box on the top right of the page along with your state or installment loan and see if you come up with anything. Feel free to ask any questions you have along the way!
