I live in Pa and have 4 outstanding payday loans. I understand that the laws have recently changed and Pa and PDL's are now illegal? I ended up having to close my bank account because when I applied for one of the loans online a third party got my acct information and started to debit my account. I checked the PA Dept of Banking website and it looks to me like my PDL lenders are not licensed. Was wondering if someone could verify that for me. My PDL's are with:
Integrity Advance-borrowed $300-pd $380 but they say i still have a balance of $200+$60 fee.
Kenwood Services-borrowed $250-pd $150 but just in fees and interest
Ace Cash Services-borrowed $300-pd only $50 so far.
Sandpoint Capital-borrowed $200-paid loan off but paid $380-took another loan out with them for $250-due to start paying on this one this week but they dont have my new account information.
Is it true that I only have to pay back the principal? Since I overpaid Sandpoint Capital on the first loan I took out can I request my overpayment go to my new debt? I did reopen another account with the same bank but I did not provide my new acct info to any of these lenders. Can I get in trouble for that?
Any advice would help. Sorry such a long message. Thanks Again!

Yes, it's absolutely true. As Aubrey stated in her post above, do NOT give ANY of these lenders your new account information, if you do, your account will never be safe again. These are all illegal lenders and they will take every cent you have if they have the chance. Internet lenders are prohibited in your state, click the link below to read your payday loan laws:

Just wanted to give an update and see what anyone thought. I faxed letters yesterday to all of my lenders and got an email response back from Sandpoint Capital/Clearwater Bay Marketing and was told that the loan document states that the loan is governed by the laws of Nevis which I now know is not true because my state law prevails. They also told me that they would settle for the principal amount that was lent and I could pay it in two installments if needed by money order. There would be no interest or fees added. I did demand a refund in my letter for the amount that I overpaid on my first loan with them but they did not mention anything about giving me a refund in the email. Just wanted some input on how to go from here. Just wanted to also say thank you for all your help! These letters do seem to work. Just 3 more to go!
