Help, I paid off the 2 loans but still receiving many calls.

Help! I took out 2 payday loans 3 yars ago, Sandpoint and SDS Processing. I paid them in full, $510.00 each. I am still receiving calls from companies stating that I owe. The latest call was today from Gateway Group representing CGM group LLC and DJR group. They gave me a date that supposedly showed when money was deposited into my account. They had my bank account number,SS#, work and on top of it, they called my sisters cell phone. How did they get her cell#? Her number is not associated with my name anywhere. Anyway, I checked my statements from the bank just to be sure but I've never taken out a loan from either of these companies, the only being fron SDS and Sandpoint which was paid.

I have gotten phone calls off and on for the past 2 years, how do I stop them? Should I get a lawyer and if so what type of lawyer.

I live in Massachusetts.
The amount borrowed for each was $300
The amount paid was $510.
The companies were SDS Processing and Sandpoint.

I have the paid in full letters. I think these companies sold my name because I have been receiving calls from multiple companies, the latest Gateway Group representing DJR Group and CMG group LLC. They are threatening me with wage garnishment stating check fraud etc. Should I get a lawyer? Will the calls ever stop?

they are feeding you a bunch of BS. Debts are civil, not criminal. Simply ignore. If the calls persist, contact your state's AG and the FTC. Evenutally, the calls will stop. Good Luck!!!
