I took out a lot of Internet payday loans several years ago. I paid some back in full, I paid others back in principal only and others I did not pay since they would not come to an agreement with me. My manager, my sister, my mom and me keep getting these HORRIBLE phone calls from 877-637-2057 that they are serving me papers (which I know is bogus). When I call "Bill Dunn" or "Joe Medina" back from Consolidated (the company name they leave on voice mail), they want me to verify my name, address, phone and SS#. I don't want to verify any information (although they probably already have it). They won't tell me why they are calling until I verify my information. I'm willing to pay back the principal on any outstanding loan, however, when I google the 877-637-2057, it appears this # is a scam. Can I stop them from calling work and my family? Should I file a report with the FTC or the Indiana Attorney General? Has anybody else encountered these scam artists?

If the callers are saying they are going to serve papers over the phone, sounds like a scam. If they won't tell you anything when you call, that's a big red flag. Tell them nothing, give them no information. These scam artist do scare tactics and will call your work, family, etc...Let your family and work know that they are scam artists and to not answer their calls. Very annoying.

This is a scam. More likely a bottomfeeder. You need to report the name and the number to the county police and file complaints with the AG and the FTC. Ignore the phone calls and inform your supervisor at work that you are being targeted by scammers and all such calls should be ignored.
