I have a bunch of ipdl's and I was hoping that I am on the right track of trying to clear these out of my life. I live in CA which I know is a very strict state when it comes to pdl's. The companies that I have right now are:

Sandpoint a.k.a. clearwaterbaymarketing
FTR processing
VIP payments
EZ payday cash
discount advances
VIp Cash which I believe is qloot
payday max

Now I have sent a letter that is has C & D in it, blocking wage assignment, no phone calls to me or my references and no more debits and letting them know they are illegal in CA. I have already closed my checking account and have a new one. I have seen and read alot of advice from different people on this site and have been very encouraged. I am just trying to see if I am on the right track so far, or if I need to do something else.

The places I have sent this all-in-one letter to are Credit Protection Depot which is for Paydaymax and EZpaydaycash. I am going to be sending out ones to VIP Cash shortly. These are the ones that have contacted me. Oh yeah I have filed a complaint with the CA AG office and with the CA dept of Corp.

I am just trying to be strong and believe that I can get through this. Thank you for any advice that may come.

United Cash and ameriloan are under a court order (a LOT stronger than any regulator C&D letter) not to make loans in California and the Department of Corportations is suing to enforce the court order. I suggest you call the Department and see what they suggest you do.

Also, CA has it in their law that loans made by unlicensed companies are null and void. The contract is unenforceable in a court of law.

I have a real strong feeling deep inside that I think ALL of these companies are illegal in CA. Has anyone else delat with these companies before? If someone can help me to find out if these companies are illegal that would be so awesome. I do know that PDM is affiliated with Mycashnow which is illegal in CA and I already know about ameriloan and UCL. But the other ones would be great. Thanks for your responses everyone sdo far.

From my experience, none of the companies you've posted above are going to have a CA license.

WOW, sucks for them, thanks goudah. I really appreciate the info. It's so funny because yesterday EZpaydaycash called me and worked and was trying to harass me acting like they are a legal legit company. Travis was his name and once I huing up I immediately faxed over the letter and shortly after he emails me :

One quick call or email can keep your account from going into collections. Please be aware that once your account is sent to collections, there will be an escalation of the adverse actions taken against you.

Once again, we appreciate your business and would like to maintain our relationship. Thank you for your attention in this matter. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions or comments.

Sincerely Yours,

The Support Team

Well it looks like they might go by the letter hopefully. After everyone that I talk to I am faxing and emailing the letter to them. One company that I definately not going to stress about is Credit Protection Depot. These guys I believe try to colllect for PDM and I faxed over the letter to Mr. William Reed at CPD, who is appearantly the President. I am ready to go head on with these illegal companies.

Also, CA is one of the state's where original creditors do have to follow a cease and desist contact order.
