I have a bunch of ipdl's and I was hoping that I am on the right track of trying to clear these out of my life. I live in CA which I know is a very strict state when it comes to pdl's. The companies that I have right now are:
Sandpoint a.k.a. clearwaterbaymarketing
EZ payday cash
VIp Cash which I believe is qloot
Now I have sent a letter that is has C & D in it, blocking wage assignment, no phone calls to me or my references and no more debits and letting them know they are illegal in CA. I have already closed my checking account and have a new one. I have seen and read alot of advice from different people on this site and have been very encouraged. I am just trying to see if I am on the right track so far, or if I need to do something else.
The places I have sent this all-in-one letter to are Credit Protection Depot which is for Paydaymax and EZpaydaycash. I am going to be sending out ones to VIP Cash shortly. These are the ones that have contacted me. Oh yeah I have filed a complaint with the CA AG office and with the CA dept of Corp.
I am just trying to be strong and believe that I can get through this. Thank you for any advice that may come.
By signing up a debt counseling session, your provided details (Name, Email ID and Phone No.) will be forwarded to the company advertising on the DebtCC. However, you have no obligation to use their services.
Some creditors and collection agencies refuse to lower the payoff amount, interest rate, and fees owed by the consumer.
Creditors/collection agencies can make collection calls and file lawsuits against the consumers represented by the debt relief companies.
Debt relief services may have a negative impact on the consumer's creditworthiness and his overall debt amount may increase due to the accumulation of extra fees.
The amount which the consumer saves with the use of debt relief services can be regarded as taxable income.
