I need to know if any of these are legal in illinois . I will gladly pay the amount off but need the finance charges stopped. How do i do this . Or can I ask for a settlement.

I am ashamed to say I made some poor choices after being off on surgical leave and need help I kept taking out internet pay day loans thinking that with my good income I could pay back without any problem. Unfortunately I would pay off one loan and borrow another and before I knew it I have 5 payday loans. I live in Illinois. I am aftaid because I dont want these people contacting my parents , peers or employer. I intend to pay off the prinicple but dont know how to go about it. My other problem is I have had my checking account since 1984 and dont want to close my account.
The loans I have are IIdeal Gelt - 900 i have paid 400.00 300 interest and 100 extra
MLB marketing 800.00 I have paid 270.00 interest and 100.00 extra
Cash Jar 900.00 I have paid 235 interest and 100 extra
Direct Cash 400.00 I have paid 110 interest plus 100 extra
How do I go about getting these stopped. I tried calling in good pretenses stating that I needed to make an arrangement and they stated they could not set up payments with me until I defaulted ??
Are these legal.... I am not trying to run from them I just cant keep up
The next scheduled payments are for this friday 11 - 16 please help
