Liquid Cash Online

I borrowed $500 from this offshore lender.

I repaid $300 and then got wise, thanks to this forum.

They offered to settle for another $350, since "I agreed to pay at least one finance fee."

I told them to pound sand - $200 and PIF or not another dime.

They've refused and invited me to make another settlement offer. I told them that was the only offer they are going to get.

Being as though I've paid less than the full amount of principal, I'd like to do the right thing. But they seem to be too stupid to get it.

Anyone have any experience with LiquidCashOnline in this type of situation? Any idea what their next move will be?

If you have revoked ACH, there is nothing substantial they can do here. Remember to revoke voluntary wage assignment as well with your lender and your payroll/HR. As for their next move, they are possibly going to hound you for a couple of weeks and then either agree to your $200/PIF offer (pay this only with a money order) or they are just going to drop off the grid and fall silent. You might start receiving calls from scam collection outfits after a couple of months or so, claiming to be collecting on this account. Go ask them to take a long walk off the nearest pier and hang up. Rinse and repeat till desired effect is achieved.

I haven’t personally dealt with Liquid Cash Online before. Do whatever my previous posters have suggested. Close down your old bank account and open a new one to stop unauthorized withdrawal. Don’t worry, they will try to harass you but they can’t take any legal action against you. If required, file a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC.

I haven't worked with this company. However, I can pretty much assume what they can do. They'll pester you with more settlement offers. They'll tell you that you should pay as per the loan agreement.

I've done all the "required" steps. I closed my bank account. In my initial letter telling them I won't pay the interest, I revoked ACH, wage assignment, the right to contact me by phone, the right to contact references, etc. Basically told them the only way to deal with me is via email.

But, as I said, they seem too stupid to understand what I'm telling them. If I just have to give them time to come to their senses, so be it. Just was curious what usually happens next. Thanks for the replies.

You are welcome. Usually, all these illegal lenders are in cahoots with scammers running offshore call centers pretending to be collection agencies. The first marker is a weird accent.

This company has been identified as being affiliated with Money Mutual's lending network although the company appears to be defunct now. I know who owns the company however (or did) and he's a local restaurateur in Kansas City.
