247 Green st. sent me a letter saying they will accept the principal balance owed and they have ceased all communication because of my complaint. I will work on sending it they were like just send the principal and we are all good. I have had my first paycheck to actually pay bills and it feels so good. So that's 2 lenders down and more to go. I didn't get the call from the chick at the Detex agency like she claimed i would get. I am ok today.

I will keep you all updated also this website I think is a part of Careone of so they have been helping me become debt free for the past few month I have seen more happening and I am grateful to this site and the people on it!!!!!v:D

I hear ya. I was in your shoes where I wasn't able to pay my regular bills. It's a great feeling. Keep us posted and others will see that there IS life after payday loans.

Nice, only one I have gotten a response from emailed me and said

Nice, only one I have gotten a response from emailed me and said they would settle up for the original principle ($30, had paid in 270 on a $300 loan) and the next morning they deducted $180 from my account. Sent more nasty emails, filed complaints with FTC, BBB, and the Attorney General here in TX. Nothing will happen I'm sure, but it was fun.

I actually closed my accounts before I sent the letters. 247 Green street is now trying to tell me I am bound by EU laws and they are in Malta and Canada! Wow! How can you be so many places?
