how do I pay off my payday loans. should I sign up with one of those agencies, or should I try to work out a payment plan with the payday companies? Those companies charge up to 40% of the total debt. I have 5 loans and on payday my paycheck is gone right away

I started out with 8 internet payday loans and 2 storefronts. I checked into a couple of debt agencies and was told by one that they wanted $1,600 in fees alone to help me. The other company wanted $1,500. I decided to do it alone. Through the great advice of this forum, I am almost payday loan free! Why pay someone to do something you can do yourself? What State do you live in and who are the payday lenders? Are they internet or storefront. If you answer these questions, someone will be able to assist you further.
