I just received an email from Payday Island offering me "payment arrangements" on my account. This is too funny since this account has been PIF for over a year (but of course they are claiming I still owe them).
I haven't heard a peep from them since July of 2007. These places reallly do pop out of the woodwork! :x

Whoa, these companies are way too much, I think I would file a complaint against them with the FTC and make them aware of how these pdl's operate, you have a paid in full, yet they still want to collect. Are they serious
Back in 2006 I was drowing in payday loans. I was finally able to close my checking account, pay off the loans, and was free and clear...or so I thought. Payday Island called me July 2007 about a loan I supposed had almost a year prior. Then they started emailing me every so often saying I owe them $200 still. I have paid them well over the 300 that I borrowed. They no longer call me but I get emails at least once a month and I ignore them. Should I try to let them know that I don't owe them anything and stop emailing me or just keep ignoring them?
