Shazzers... Question for you
Date: Mon, 12/07/2009 - 11:32
I see you have actually gotten money returned to you by illegal payday lenders.
I resided in Wa State, and have had overpayments to Ameriloan and One Click Cash. Haver you been able to get any payments refunded by either on of these?
I posted another topic, but thought it may be easier to address this to you.
Thank you-
Alison

Hi Allison, yes, I did have a loan with Ameriloan but not OneClickCash. I pressured the heck out of Ameriloan and would not let up for a minute. They continued to offer me a PIF with no refund but I would not accept it, instead, I told them to go ahead and send the agreement for the PIF, of course the agreement was the typical form letter from other pdl's which stated they wanted me to agree not to disclose any information to anyone blah blah blah, but instead I forwarded the email to my attorney general and the FTC and explained that they owed me a refund, then I sent an email to Ameriloan and told them what I had done with the agreement. lol I received a refund in the mail along with a PIF, promptly I might add.
However, keep in mind this was all over a 6 month period, I pushed and pushed them to that point. I also wrote an article about illegal lenders which appeared on an online news site with Ameriloan's name, website, address, phone number etc., I sent Ameriloan the link. Anyway, as you can see I applied as much pressure as I possibly could.
Thanks Shazzers. Can i ask how much you got back in Overpayments
Thanks Shazzers. Can i ask how much you got back in Overpayments?
I have had 2 previousd loans with them and currently have one out. I really want to see about getting a refund back from them.
I have been researching this site alot. I will use the letter format that was suggested here. Any other tips you have?
It was 300 bucks! You just need to apply pressure!
