So, my question (glad I found this thread after searching for awhile) is can an illegal PDL report to the credit bureaus? If they do, as I think I've seen some people say they have. How do you dispute it? Through the credit reporting agency (Exp, Trans, Eq) or through the PDL? I would assume the agency because the PDL would be no help. I just got a CA to refer it back to the lender so I'm sure they'll try something. I am going to pull my report at the beginning of 2011 because I know it takes 6-8 weeks for your report to show changes. I assume there is a letter template somewhere on DCC on how to dispute an illegal PDL on a credit report, right???
