Western Sky/CashCall payment arrangement success rate

I believe Waffles did - I don't know how long it took - I have been dealing with them since Oct.. they are getting closer to what I will agree too.. last mailing was still off by $676.27 as of what I will agree to -- but they are getting closer -- so I figure only a matter of a few more months. LOL

I have been dealing with them since August 2012. I have over paid this loan by $1,100 but was willing to make a settlement offer in order to get them to close the account and get it off my credit report, however, I have never received a response from them on my offer. Weekly I do receive their offer to refinance or a settlement of a lump sum amount, but it's way off of what I am willing to pay. I did get in the mail today a letter from them stating that as of January 31st they will "charge off" my loan and place it with a 3rd party collector. I'm not sure if I should try to negotiate something with them or allow it to go ahead and charge off. They are already killing my credit score and no amount of complaints I have filed or disputes with the CRAs have done anything to budge it. I'm not sure what to do in this instance. I just want these people out of my life and off my credit report so I can move forward. Anyone have any thoughts? Anyone had this happen and had any success getting this settled and off credit report once it goes into collections?

I received the same today from CashCall stating the loan was gong to be charged off as of January 31. How many other people besides myself and momofthree27 have gotten this letter and what have your done?
