My mom used my account to get a payday loan from CashNetUsa. Fine, whatever that's another story. Payments have been coming out left and right with no warning so I log onto her account with them only to find that since she was overdue on her payments that they have sold her loan to a third party company. Not sure when this occurred but they took out a payment yesterday of over a hundred dollars that I don't have to give.

Is that ok? Can they still take out payments if they no longer own the loan? Is there a way to stop them from taking money out of my account?

CashNet Usa is a legal lender. They are considered a CSO and do not have to abide by payday loan laws. I suggest that you close your bank account. Once account is closed, Call CashNet and ask for a repayment plan. You can make arrangements to pay the loan in full with 4 or 5 monthly installments via a money order or prepaid card. Do not give them your new bank account information. Good Luck!

They are actually very friendly and easy to work with. They have abided by the laws in my state. I worked out an easy payment plan with them--they immediately stopped any further interest and let me tell them when I could make payments. Just call and explain the situation.

I have also made payment arrangements with CashNet USA before and they fairly easy to work with, minus a glitch that happened in December.

My advice is to email (or call) the support team first. They should then forward that to Collections. I'd advise you to present a payment plan and see if they can agree to it (preferably 4 equal payments at the most, although I know some people have been successful with more).

They should email you back a confirmation and I would verbally call Collections and ensure that everything is on track for your payments. I have called twice to be sure that the proper amount will be taken out so that I don't end up like I did in December where their error costs me (however, they did resolve it fully). Remember, you can't change the plan once it's in so be sure your method of payment and amount is affordable for you each time.

Hi! I'm an official representative for CashNetUSA. Your account should never be debited without notice to you that a payment is due. Although it sounds like CashNetUSA no longer owns your loan, we are concerned by your description above that the purchaser of the loan may not be providing with you with proper notice, and we would like to assist you. Please email our team at compliance at cashnetusa.com and reference your post on the Debt Consolidation Care website. We look forward to hearing from you.

That is nice that you are reaching out and hopefully sincere about helping the poster with their account.

Why do you not offer loans in PA?

Ask your bank to reverse the payment and tell them that you did not authorize the withdrawal. My bank allowed me to reverse the withdrawals back 60 days. It sure helped my account and I was able to pay my bills. I signed form stating that I did not authorize the deduction.
I have followed the steps that this forum as given and have gotten my life back. Good luck

Im just wondering how you went about getting ACH charges reversed? i have ovepaid mypaydayloan.com(I have paid $1260 for a $775 loan) and had to close my bank account because they wouldn't stop charging it after I sent them a cease and desist letter revoking thier ACH rights. They are certainly not refunding my overpayment and have started calling me at work, saying I owe them over $800 more.

Mypaydayloan is an illegal offshore lender in Costa RIca....dont expect to get a refund. When they call tel them not to call anymore and to get lost.
