Well I have three more. One is United Cash Loans, which I know is illegal anywhere...I paid them 315.00 (in fees) on a 350.00 loan. The other on is Loan Point USA. And after that is Cash First, which I think is a sister company of United Cash Loans..Cash First has not contacted me about my default yet, they other ones have.

Have you sent them a C & D letter, revoking ACH authorizations & wage assignments? If you have, I wouldn't concern myself too much with them, take care of the legal ones first! You only owe United Cash Loans 35 bucks and it will be paid off!

I have not sent any letters yet. I closed my bank account.

Should I send letters? They are not in collections yet so will a C&D letter even do any good? Loan Point is legal....

Only to the illegal lenders, however, you may still revoke any wage assigments you may or may not have signed with any of these lenders (even the legal ones), it's better safe than sorry to do so, I'm sure you wouldn't want them to attach your wages. :)

I believe that United Cash Loans is part of MNE and I don't think that Cash First is affiliated with them. On the right of the posts there is a section under "Useful Links". You can pull up the sample letters there. If you need more help, check back.

is there a letter I can use to send about the wage assignment? Should I also give a copy to my employer?

Shazz has given the info on the wage assignment but if you send the C and D letter from the template, it will be included in that as well.
