We've all gotten a laugh out of Frogpatch in the stocks in downtown London (see that thread for info), but as I've said before and I will say it again, we have a real chance to get rid of PDL's or make serious change based on what candidate we choose for President.
Frog's thread put a smile on my face, but it made me think. There are many Americans out there who are still getting those calls and think it's the real deal! And that is just wrong!
Before you vote, take the time to research your candidate's position on PDL's. Know what and who you are getting for your money. Together, we can work to put PDL collectors like the trolls who have been coming here on the unemployment line.
Great thought, if anyone finds out what the candidates stand on
Great thought, if anyone finds out what the candidates stand on the pdls, could you come here and post it for us who are not so savvy on finding this information. thanks
No problem! Of the candidates that are still in, here is what I
No problem! Of the candidates that are still in, here is what I know: Barack Obama is proposing a ban on off shore IPDL's (YES!!!!!) and a federal interest cap of 36 percent on all PDL's--like what is offered to military members. John Edwards was also advocating the same policies, but as we know, he's out of the race. Hilary Clinton, to the best of my knowledge, has not taken a position on PDL's.
On the GOP side, the only thing that stands out is that Mike Huckabee is advocating that the IRS be closed. Interesting thought....
