I took out some payday loans and fell behind and they went through to my bank. Can I go to jail if I dnt call and set up payments?how long do I got to call?also dnt know who to trust so many people are calling with harrassmant phone calls.please help

This is not a criminal offence. Thus, you won't be taken to jail if you're unable to pay the payday loans. You haven't mentioned the names of the payday lenders and the state you live in. Nevertheless, if the payday lenders are legal in your state, then it will be better to set up a payment plan and pay it off. Also, if they are legal in your state, then you can contact a debt relief company and they may assist you with payday loan consolidation.

Setting up a repayment plan is a good option, but you have to get a clearer picture of your other financial obligations. Also, make sure that you're able to explain your entire financial situation to your lender while choosing your repayment plan. This will help them ascertain your true financial strength and thus offer the right plan to you.
