I currently have 13 PDLs. I am drowning in fees and my entire check was gone before I even made it. My bank closed my checking account on Tuesday and moved all of my money into my other checking account so that the loan payment can not be deducted today. But as of today, I have defaulted on my PDLs. What are my options? Does payday loan consolidation work? What companies are reputable? Will the payday loan companies make arrangements with me? I live in Missouri and I am terrified that I am going to be arrested or my check is going to be garnished.

BTW, all of my loans are through the internet.

I currently have loans with:

Oneclickcash - $300
cashnetusa $593.75
ezpaydaycash $195.00
fastmoney911 $877.50
checkngo.com $450.00
greenlight funding $182.00
ameriloan $260.00
instantcash $400
accell $300
loanshack - $184.32
mypayday loan $650.00
usapaydaycash
acecashexpress

I have been paying on most of these for months except the bottom 3. It is a vicious cycle and it has gotten to the point that I am getting behind on all my other bills.

Any advice would be greating appeciated.

Thank you!

Firstly, defaulting on your debt is not considered a criminal offense and so you cannot be arrested for that.
Secondly, the creditor cannot garnish your wage till they sue you to the court and bring judgment against you to do so.
Finally, you need to check which PDL are legal in your state and which are not. For this you need to check the license database of Missouri "http://www.missouri-finance.org/Contribute%20Documents/500list-3-09.pdf". If the PDL is licensed, you need to pay the principle amount plus the interest charges, else you need to pay only the principle amount.

If you want, you can negotiate with your creditors directly or register with a good debt consolidation company.

I know exactly how you feel. I was ready to go with a debt consolidation company, but worked out agreements with a couple of ny creditors, A couple of the companies told me they would work with a company, but I've read here that some of them won't. Research carefully before you commit.

that list in the link given by Novice is not current. I went to the missouri state link and looked up your companies listed, and more than 4 are licensed. you should do more research. also, the licensed companied usually show their actual license on their websites, you might want to look there as well.
