I currently have 4 payday loans out. 3 of them taking 90 dollars a paycheck and 1 taking 60. These payments only go toward interest so while I have been paying for almost 2 months, I still owe the same amount I borrowed. Its getting to be too much to handle! Is there any way out? I called a debt consolidation company, and they said you can"t consolidate pay day loans and that it might be the best idea to close my bank account.......then I read tat "PDL assistance" does......Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

first off welcome.second you need to close your current account and open a new one.next we need the following.

names of each pdl
how much borrowed from each
how much debited total from each
what state are you in

okay,so if what you said in your original post you have been paying all of these for two months?if so you have overpaid each of them.did you get the loans while in RI or while you were in MA.that is key.either way please close your current account.these illegal that's right illegal pdl's will debit forever if you let them.you have paid enough on these.i can tell by looking that none of your pdl's are licensed so you only owe the principle borrowed.any so called interest goes toward the loan.

not really you can just have them open a new account while closing that one.just make sure it can't be re-opened by the pdl's attempts to debit which they will do.

speak to the manager.go in person they will help you,and yes they probably have had to do it before.in this day of ID theft they more than likely have dealt with worse than this, but yes you should go and see the manager in person.

as long as your bank helps you with that and also have them out a fraud alert on the new account you should be fine.

I am in Florida and have 8 pay day loans from the internet. If I close my bank account and reopen a new one. Won't they be able to come after me legally then?

I currently have a pay day loan out that I have been paying on for about 2 months. They recently told me that they are now going to start deducting 140.00 on the loan. I have paid 90 dollars every two weeks for the 2 months. What can i do about this?

Hi there, begin a new thread and post the following information:
-Names of each pdl company.
-Whether they are store front or Internet.
-How much you borrowed.
-How much you paid so far.
-The state in which you reside.
