A manager at Ace changed the date a payment needs to be in from Jan 31st to Feb 7th. I would like to know if in doing this, my DUE DATE has changed. The reason is I would like to ask for an EPP but if the DUE DATE stays the same, then today is too late.

Thanks!

Ace does offer extensions on payments sometimes. Did you ask for one? It is in my experience only a one time thing. But with my loan I was basically rolling it over each month to a new one, by paying the interest do if it was due on the 2nd - I could have them move it for me but only by 5 days, I think so the 31st to the 7th seems strange .. Call them and ask what your current due date is? that will be the only way to know for sure...

Ace was fairly easy for me to work with, I basically asked for it to go into collections and came up with a plan that would work for me and they agreed to it.. I will be paying them off next week. How much do you presently owe them - have an idea in your head of what you can do - they might surprise you..
