PayDay Island Status (California)

I feel the best way to do this is to document my experiences with each company as I hear from them.
PayDay Island...
I have had several loans from them starting in 2007. To date, I have paid them nearly $3000 in fees. My goal is to get a Paid in Full letter and a refund.
Two days ago (Oct. 6 2010) I closed out my bank account. Yesterday, I sent them "the letter" via their contact form on their website.
Today, I logged into the account to see what might be happening on their end as it would be a few days before the next $125 rollover payment would be due and I see a screen offering me settlement/payment options....so they undoubtedly got my letter. There is an interesting tidbit on that page though..."*For credit card payments the payment will show up on your statement as Pentalead" My first guess is that this is maybe a parent company, but their website says "Marketing services provided by Pentalead" so I don't know.
I just sent "the letter" again via their contact form. We'll see where things go from here!

Don't expect them to respond to your letter in the first instance. First, they will try to hit your account. When they will fail, they will try to scare you with various BS. Then, they might offer you the PIF.

This morning when I tried to log in, it said I had a return payment (duh, the account is closed) and offered suggestions on payment arrangements. I have sent "the letter" via their contact form again, this time stating if I do not hear from them today regarding my PIF letter and refund, I will contact the Attorney General, FTC and BBB tomorrow.

No word from these bottomfeeders yet. I have sent "the letter" again, and adding the following to the top of the letter:
"Since I have yet to receive a "paid in full" letter or my refund, and haven't heard any response from you regarding this matter by the end of business yesterday, I am now taking further action as mentioned in my original letter below. I highly recommend that you contact me asap. I will be communicating with you again later today with copies of the letters I have sent.
Please find my original letter AGAIN below. You may only contact me via email or snail mail."
I am now off to file complaints with my Attorney General, the FTC and the BBB.
