PDL in New York

Due to the info posted here and the advice of the NY Attorney General, I decided to close my account. But before I do so and start the harassing calls, how can I stop them from calling? Can they sue me or garnish my wages? Or is it all empty verbal threats? Will a hard debit be the same as closing the account?

I intend on sending the cease and desist letter and I'm willing to only pay back the principal even though, I already overpaid one loan for $300 from Advanceme today. I have two other loans $200 VIPLoanShop and $1250 Cashyes.

Please help!

about the threats

all threats as far as your loans will be ilegal,so just know that.also alert your boss and co-workers that scammers will be calling for you.that way they can handle it accordingly.now make sure it is a hard block,and not a stop payment.then you should be fine.
