I am currently making payments to PDL ventures (formerly Spot on loans), arrowhead, one click cash. These payments are spread out every month to pay off payday loans. Are these companies legal in florida? am I doing the right thing paying principal and interest?

PDL Ventures, Oneclickcash and Arrowhead are all illegal to offer PDLs in Florida. You are not liable to pay them a dime more than the actual amount borrowed. What you can do is close your current bank account because if you don't, they will debit you until you are empty. Get another account at a different bank.

Send the 3 PDL lenders letters stating that since they're illegal in your state, you are not liable to pay them a dime more the actual amount borrowed. Also state that you are willing to pay off the principal amount which will be sent to them via money order. Ask them to send you PIF letters. Send this letter via certified mail with return receipt request.
