According to Mississippi law, a payday lender must be licensed in Mississippi to lend legally to Mississippi residents. Please provide me with your MS license number. If you do not have a MS license, then I am only obligated to pay back the principal amount of $300, which I have. In the case that you do not have a MS license, please issue a paid in full letter. Thank you.

This is the response that I received- This actually makes no sense and doesn't answer my e-mail in any way. I'm going to respond with the same request, and threaten AG FTC and BBB complaints. This is insane!
I appreciate your prompt response, Your email does not forgive your debt nor
will it circumvent further collection actions. Your email is not the
required payment confirmation. To take advantage of the loan payoff you will
need to email back today your complete payment authorization, which you will
find listed below in my original email. Once you have done that I will then
be able to freeze your account balance and remove you from further
collection actions.

I e-mailed them another response saying that I demanded their license number, and would be contacting the AG, FTC, BBB. The goober just forwarded me his previous e-mail with 3rd request as the subject line instead of 2nd request. I have half a mind to forward my C & D letter to him and put 100th request for MS License number as the subject line.
What I don't understand is that if they ARE legal in MS...why is it such a big deal to give me their license info? Hmmm.....

Trust me they are not licensed. They are hoping to bank off of intimidattion. They will tell you all kinds of BS to try and scare you into paying. Do as paul says and email them a jillion times a day..LOL! I would also add that 100th request headline..that is good
