I was scammed by the mass street group and closed my account to keep them from taking any more money out of my account than they already had. Since then I have been receiving relentless phone calls at home and at work saying they have important documents they need to fax to me. I have now been getting phone calls from a personal locator saying he is coming to my place of employment to present me with these documents that are notifying me of my claim against me and my criminal charges. My question is what can i do about this and is it legal in any way. Should I call the sherriffs dept.

It is a total scam. No one is going to come to you with papers, documents, etc...They will lie, lie, lie, and try to intimidate you into giving money. I'd would report them to your sheriff anyway since what they are doing is illegal. Don't listen to the scammers. Stay off the phone, hang up if you find that you have answered one of their calls.

If someone is going to serve you with papers, they won't call to verify you are at home or at work. They just show up, ask for you and if you are there they hand you the notice. That's it. They think that if they call you and say they are doing it, you won't have time to react accordingly and will just pay them. Compared to 30 years ago someone can look at your loan application and pull your home address and using Google Maps talk about the car parked down the street from you, provided they haven't moved in three years. They can totally act like they are next door to you or just outside the house.
