Should I keep asking these pdl places for a PIF letter?

I have four illegal loans. I have more than paid the principal on each of them. I actually got one PIF letter. One company has not contacted me at all since I closed my bank account (in early Feb.) and sent them the certified letter. One company has called only once and I told them I need everything in writing and hung up. The other company has called me, called my work again and again. I keep telling them I need everything in writing and hang up.
My question--Should I keep writing these companies requesting a PIF letter or should I just be happy that they are not calling and agravating me? I am not asking for reimbusement of the amount I have overpaid these places. I just want the PIF letter.

that is up to you. these loans are not legal, so even without a PIF letter they cannot do anything to do you at all. i would try to get the PIF in writing to avoid future harrassment but being they are illegeal, that might not even work.
