I would like to know if these two companies are legal in Wisconsin? As of today I have made 2 payments to Plain Green and have paid One Click Cash 1100.00 on a 700 loan with 650 to go yet. Any advice would be appreciated.

Both of these lenders are tribal lenders - Online lenders must be licensed in Wisconsin, I am sure neither of these are, but you can check here to verify: Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions - here is their link - http://www.wdfi.org/.
You are only morally obligated to repay the principal borrowed - minus any thing paid to date.. So please tell us how much borrowed on each and how much paid to date on each. We can guide you further. Follow the link below in my signature line on how to deal with them - all steps in order..

My five kids are eating more then hot dogs and cup of soups now!!! Couldnt be more grateful! Two down and 5 to go (Mobiloan, GoldenValley, 2 Cash Calls and Avant)

With One Click Cash - you should have no problem, they technically owe you a refund of $400 - will you get - not likely - but you will get a PIF - With PG - you owe $749 - on your terms -- Follow the link in my signature on how to deal with.. all steps in order.. And please register with the forums if you have not done so already!!

Your correspondence has been directed to for review, thank you for the opportunity to assist you at this time.

We understand that all situations are different and would like to offer you the opportunity to pay the remaining principal on your current loan in the amount of $745.52. We are willing to settle your account for this amount, payable in six (6) monthly installments in the amount of $124.42 each, payable beginning October 15, 2013, and monthly thereafter.

To further clarify your questions regarding the legality of this loan, Plain Green is organized under the laws of the Chippewa-Cree Tribe of the Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation of Montana (“Chippewa-Cree”). Plain Green is owned by the Chippewa-Cree, and operates exclusively on land owned by the Chippewa-Cree. As such, Plain Green stands as an “Arm of the Tribe,” in the view of the United States state and federal courts. Therefore, loans made by an arm of a sovereign Indian nation are not subject to state law. This is NOT a payday loan.

This letter is written to help you understand that Plain Green and its loan contracts are governed exclusively by the laws of the Chippewa-Cree.

Pursuant to your request, we have removed your contact numbers from our system and we will make no further ACH debits from your account.

Please reply if you would like to accept this settlement and set up payment arrangements.

helpinaz stated your terms not theirs.even though it seems fair you need to get back on track.they dictate nothing.reply this way:

i will pay you when i can,and how much i can.you dicate nothing as your loans put people in a worse bind than if they didn't get the loan so again i will pay when i can,and what i can.not good enough?tough!!!!!!!!!!!

that is how you reply.you don't propose a thing.again pay what you can when you can.that's it.get yourself on track with real debts, and pay what you can spare.btw they can claim whatever as far as their classification goes, but tribal=illegal.

What do I do now with Plain Green? Accept the terms or make my own? I just don't want it to go on my credit report as a negative item.
