Western Sky & Plain Green Loans, help!

I live in SC. I have 2 installment loans right now. One from Plain Green and one from WesternSky/CashCall. I've had 2 previously with Plain Green and paid them off early and never had a problem. I had one with Western Sky last January and paid it off the first week of February, no problem. It was only after reading a bunch of posts in this forum did I realize these loans may be illegal.
I took the Plain Green loan out on 2/1/12 for $2200. I've made 19 payments of $124.02 so far, which totals: $2356.38. The balance, according to them, is: $1548.31. If I continue with the loan it will be paid off in late August 2013.
I can't give exact details on the Western Sky loan because I can't sign in to my account. The password won't work (and I know it's correct). I tried requesting a new one but the e-mail hasn't come yet, and it's been about 10 hours. But the loan was taken out for $2600 and I've made 3 payments so far, the forth is due to come out today. The first payment was for $301 and the next 3 were $294, for a total of $1183. I don't know what their balance says but the last time I looked, after last month's payment, it was still around $2500.
We planned on paying off both loans when we get our income tax in February but if there's a chance we don't have to, that would be a tremendous help considering my husband recently lost his job. So if someone can help me, tell me what I should or shouldn't do, I would be SO grateful!


Western Sky/Cash Call is illegal. One reason is they advertise as Western Sky and their documents state Cash Call. Western Sky/Cash Call will make alot of empty threats. They will also tell you they will come to your home "within 72 hours", etc. That's what they said to me over 5 years ago,..before I knew of their illegal practices. Don't pay them anymore money.

I wanted to check on something. Cash Call/Western IS illegal in the state of South Carolina regardless of what they say. As I said in a previous post, don't pay them a dime.

Where did you find info saying that they're illegal in SC? Can you give me a link, just so I know exactly what I'm talking about if I contact them.

Also, you say not to pay them another dime, but how do I do that? Do I call and tell them? Write them? How do I go about it?
